The PMAC (Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Unified Patent Court) has launched a public consultation on the Draft FRAND Guidelines Discussion Paper, inviting stakeholders across the FRAND and SEP licensing ecosystem to share their expertise and practical experience.
Past July, the PMAC established a PMAC FRAND Guidelines Working Group to develop guidelines providing non-binding guidance and best practice recommendations for proceedings involving disputes concerning fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) licensing terms.
The Working Group is chaired by Simon Dack, Member of the PMAC Expert Committee, and consists of 12 additional experts in the field of standard essential patents (SEPs) and FRAND determinations.
