Texport Handelsgesellschaft mbH v. Sioen NV, Decision UPC CFI, Nordic-Baltic Regional Division, 31 July 2025, Case no. UPC_CFI_9/2024
Exclusive licensee Texport succesfully initiated infringement proceedings against Sioen at the Nordic-Baltic Division. It obtained an injunction against Sioen for infringing EP 2 186 428 entitled “Tissue design for protective clothing”.
This is the second substantive infringement decision of the Nordic-Baltic RD of this year.
