“The draft Code of Conduct, as referred to in the RoP UPC, has been under preparation for some time within EPLAW, EPLIT and epi. It was discussed in the 3rd UPC Expert Panel Meeting in Paris on September 18th, 2015, where valuable feedback was received and thereafter incorporated.

“The draft Code of Conduct was presented to the full Preparatory Committee at its 15th meeting 14 of April 2016 where it met with general approval from Member States delegations. Furthermore, our associations are very pleased with the various proposals for improvements suggested by experts in particular from IPLA and CCBE during the last months. In the coming weeks, EPLAW, EPLIT and epi will continue discussing the draft with interested parties to reach broad consensus on its contents.”
