This second lecture, entitled “Opposition at the EPO or request for revocation at the UPC: the pros and cons,” is to be held on 15 May by Michael Wallinger. It will be followed by a Q&A session.
Since the opening of the UPC on 1 June 2023, it has been possible to challenge a granted European patent either by filing an opposition with the EPO or, for the UPCA states, by filing a revocation action. Michael’s presentation will highlight the pros and cons of these procedures.
