With the support of EPLAW, the EPO is organising the 20th European Patent Judges Forum, which will take place in Venice on 4-5 October 2024. The purpose of the Forum is to promote the harmonisation of the European patent system
The Forum will bring together about 35 patent judges from all over Europe, the EPLAW Board, and around fifteen of our members and several EPO participants. The event is regarded as very successful by all participants (judges and lawyers).
As in previous years, a lottery will be organized amongst EPLAW members to decide who will have the opportunity to participate in the Forum. Members have received an email containing further information on the lottery.
