EPLAW Director Christine Kanz and EPLAW members Björn Rundblom Andersson and Gregory Bacon engaged in an online panel on ‘the implications of the CJEU BSH v. Electrolux decision’.
The discussion focused on how the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) expanded jurisdiction in cross-border patent litigation, and looked at the implications of the decision.
This panel is a cooperation between the EPO and EPLAW and forms part of an advanced lecture series dedicated to examining current topics in patent litigation in Europe, including the launch of the UPC and the emergence of new European patent jurisprudence. Some lectures in this series will feed into the content of and will lead up to the annual Litigation Matters conference to be held at the end of the year. Participants can attend each session separately or the entire series.
